I know, it's been forever since I've uploaded a piece, as usual, and I can only partially blame that on the lack of having a tablet this time! It's mostly just been me being lazy.

This piece is part of an art trade for someone - my first art trade ever, actually - and that lovely someone happens to be  nihilusion
Being the first piece I've drawn since I gotten my tablet back, I don't think there could have been a better character to play around with and try out things I've been wanting to for a while than Nihil.

The character seemed so sad when I first went through her gallery for references, and a lot of it I could relate to, but underneath I did find a few silly thoughts and pictures, and I really tried hard to focus this piece on the happiness I saw in those few pictures. From what I could tell, it was always a certain someone that inspired those feelings, and I wonder if that certain someone isn't standing just out of view in this piece.

Some say the eyes are the most important part of a conversation, and that they can say so much more than mere words, and it looks like Nihil's eyes are for someone else. I wonder who that could be?
