When I was younger (even today, still), both my parents worked (Dad's a firefighter on a 24hr On, 48hr Off shift; Mom's a nurse), so I had plenty of opportunities to delve into somewhat odd things (ie, radio equipment, my amateur-electrician skills, and later on this whole furry thing, etc...)
