What age does your state consider a car to be an antique?

Im just going by memory since where I currently live, I have no idea, but growing up, I got possession of my dads cherry 65 Ford Galaxie 500. In 1988 at the age of 18, I totalled it. By Virginia standards at the time, it was just a "classic" as it was at least 20 years old. Im not sure how much further it would have to be to have been considered antique there, but I am thinking it had to be closer to 50, but I could be wrong.

I think the standard these days is 25 years old. The guy who owned my '74 Cougar before me had Virginia antique plates on it in 2007.
