I really hope that hammer:
1. Is a 'just in case we meet hostiles' weapon. (Though Schwarzi has that covered)

2. Needed to turn the gate on.
I'm really, really, REALLY hoping Calie and Schwarzi went their separate ways as friends, or lived together until Calie grew old and passed on. ;.;
