I really doubt that's the direction it's going, but that's how it reads

I mean I personally see nothing wrong with it as long as its with old friends who obviously wonder what happened to the other person". And this is coming from someone who has several dead names.

So be it I guess. I have a lot of unpopular options about my own sexuality, gender, race, etc that people hate, usually despite not being in any of those groups.

But again, as a person with a preferred name, I see no harm being deadnamed in terms of telling a story, explaining the past, saying who I used to be, etc. (Like what's possibly going on in the comic and if so, the character didn't seem to care either, so I really don't see an issue at that point. )

Just saying "Hey Yoshi, how are ya?" (the deadname) to get my attention is way different from saying "Yoshi was a great person but Mario (preferred name) is even better!"

So Miko can take dominance over Zee, but gets embarrassed by a story of how him and Ash met? Why so nervous Meeks???

Ash is the -dom- dom, for sure. Miko, is in the middle ground... and/or Zee is just so sub that anyone can dom... which I totally get~ :)
Maybe they met at an event that Miko isn't comfortable talking about or they met by pure chance where Miko let his little side out a bit?
That'd be my preference~

'Sarah was great'? Fond memories, maybe?
Not asking, but maybe, perhaps, another character in the mix later on..?
