I wanted to upload something beside another nexus comic page. for those who don't know an OCT stands for Original Character Tournament which is a collaboration tournament in which multiple artists create their own characters to go up against those created by other artists in comics where the winner of each fight is determined by a judge voting on which of the two artists has the better comic. I'm not participating in one but I loved the concept and have quietly been following a few different ones, and as result I developed a few characters I could use if i ever did join one, also i was too proud of these guys not to post them i love how they turned out!

The Huntsman:
the Huntsman (Wane Tucker) is a master of nature carrying with him the book "103 SECRET ANIMAL TECHNIQUES" a book containing profiles on over 103 animals written and studied by himself. using this book he has managed to harness their unique skills to use in combat...though he is a regular man so his ability to mimic these skills is a tad bit limited by his resources and environment. when not mimicking animals his weapons of choice are a rifle and his trusted fire axe. Wane lived in the forest with his wife and daughter and life was good, when his wife died he became a bit distraught and did anything he could to support his daughter this included the hunting of endangered animals to make enough money to support her and get her a good education. However when she learned of his illegal activities she couldn't stand to be near him and moved out, he was distraught and changed his ways to try to get his daughter back but she never wanted to see him, though he still supports her financially from afar looking for any opportunity to apologize to her.

Merf:
nobody is sure what Merf's motivation is or his name mostly because nobody can understand the hazmat suited explorer, the speaker built into his suit his broken making anything he says come off as a dull radio static noise that resembles talking. he's a friendly fella very curious and a collector of different trinkets and items he uses as make shift weaponry and tools. he's a huge fan tomatoes and tomato based products though in the apocalypse his options are restricted to usually canned tomato soups he drinks through a straw hole in his mask.

Joseph, Domiel and Solvath:
these three robots were initially designed to help teach children right from wrong using the good book. however the idea of mixing animatronics with religion did not pan out well and the three robots were scrapped however instead of being scrapped they were stored until being reactivated, they now wander on a nomadic quest together to teach words of peace and war. the three robots are made of Joseph a goat/sheep naïve to the world and common sense who would debate right from wrong, the angel Domiel who when talking would turn Josephs eyes yellow and would convey messages of love, hope, joy and peace and that one should always do the right thing who would grant healing and protection miracles and there was Solvath an imp like demon who would convey messages of hate, violence and anger and that the pleasure should always win out against justice he specialized he granted miracles that could damage and inflict pain when using Joseph as a medium all three of them connected to each other.

Movie master:
The master of media and films. the movie master was once a camera based robot designed to help film movies however he evolved developing an obsession with films and movies and when nobody was present evolved the studio's equipment robots underneath him to follow his whims. he was content with filming movies but as time went on the movies he's filmed got worse and worse before one day he finally snapped after being forced to film the "Cats vs Dogs 3 remake" he and his sentient equipment went on a massacre of the entire studio documenting each segment as its own horror slaughter film. Movie master has the ability to control his mechanical set workers lights, cameras, sounds etc, though more infamously he has the ability to disguise himself or create weak digital clones of anyone he has ever recorded also he has film launchers built into his gauntlets. there is nothing her cares more for then creating the perfect movie and it doesn't matter who he has to kill and mane to achieve this dream to revitalize the film industry.
