'Hall' 5972 'Hogwarts Castle' (Olton Hall) on display at Harry Potters Wizarding World, Nov 2015.
*Prior to the films WC 34027 'Taw Valley' had been painted up as 'The Hogwarts Express' to launch the 4th book. It was nearly used in the films until the producers said it looked to modern and chose 'Olton Hall' instead. The 'Hall' was filmed at Kings Cross and on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for the first film and the Fort William - Mallaig Line for the second - fourth films filming, specially over the Glenfinnan Viaduct . Due to it's boiler certificate running out it was taken to the Leavesden studios for filming of the final films.*
