This was a YCH from SimarglArtist. The moment I saw it, I had to, well, pounce on it. ;3c I thought it would have been a great opportunity to show a bit of a role reversal between my moose character and the lovely and sweet PiousWuff.
There was a meme that went around years ago that showed Canadian wolves parachuting in to Michigan to kill off moose. The narrative is that Pious has a (semi-romantic) history with my moose, yet he tried to jump on and surprise me. Out of instinct and without getting a good look at him, I grab him, swing him around, and tackle him to the ground in a rage, but once I notice that it's him, both of our expressions break and turn to that more of a lustful yearning that you see here.
Amazing, amazing work by Simargl. Truly one of my favorite pieces in recent history. So much emotion is captured with these poses and facial expressions. Thank you so much for your hard work!
