my inspiration for the artstyle: emojipedia.org/softbank/2001
last night i was looking at emojipedia and scrolling through the different emojis and discovered that they now put the history behind each emoji too. one style in particular that i really loved was a company called SoftBank (apparently they made the first official emojis in 1997). i think they peaked in 2001 though, as i love the style it had. it really reminds me of early 2000s internet. i wish modern emojis were still in this pixel art style
perhaps i should do this with my anthro furry characters too?
