TF drive page 5: Do you even know what that means?
Spelling is not supposed to count on diagnostic tests!
Since elementary school, I was taught there was two kinds of quizzes: the kind where what mattered was getting as many answers down as possible, without wasting time on making sure everything was spelled correctly (a.k.a. diagnostic quizzes), and the kind where correctness was paramount (in which case, bad spelling was counted against you) so you always, always had to ask if spelling counts. (And besides, it was an English quiz, so... you know.)
Ms. Larisa here clearly had never heard of such a concept, but she really could have, you know, not humiliated me in front of the whole class like that (I won't show you what happened next, but it wasn't nice).
The book I actually brought that day was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (I had already finished it, but I thought it would make me look cool); However, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh will be important later.
