Thank you very much! :3 <3
I had to make due with Photobucket.com to help color this sketch. I would have LOVEd to use Photoshop, but it's an expensive program. I sketched with a regular #2 pencil, scanned, then uploaded to Photobucket. I used whats called "Cross Process" which makes a yellow tint to the image, then "Color Splash" to just make the fox yellow.

Wow, that seems to be a complex process. I have Photoshop, but it can be a major pain.
So far I have only been using pencil on white firm paper, or even just lined writing grade paper, with no coloring effects, I am just not good enough for that.
The "cross process" you speak of makes this piece, it really gives natural looking shadows even if it wasn't intended, and the mixture and blend of the colors are close enough to make the pencil detail just pop right out.
And the style of your pencil work is great for this piece specifically. I particularly like the lack of boundaries on your piece, its not outlined, but rather your strokes create the image by using the blank space to form the subject, and the chiseled lines form the depth of the image to make it realistic.
I am really trying to get to this natural skill level, and I want you to know I am very impressed.
Good job, and thanks for the comments.

I appreciate all the feedback! That's awesome you have photoshop, I'll be sure to get it one day and have some fun with it. ;3
I noticed if I use darker shades with pencil, the shades appear more purple if I use "cross process." Actually the hardest part was just making sure I stay in the lines when using the mouse. :D
Once again thank you! And for sure with enough practice you will do well, you are already a great storyteller.
