Indeed, she is. That’s a one-of-a-kind top. The original was damaged and the factory replaced it with a custom one.

That reminds me I should take that picture of my keyboard outside, though it surely weighs more than your guitar :p

Maybe enlist the help of a family member or neighbor to get it outside…

I wish I could make wood shine like that. Used some boiled linseed oil on a rifle stock once. Overdid it a little and it took six months to dry/ oxidize 🤣

I'm not certain, but I think shiny guitar tops like this one have a top coat of some kind of urethane.
I confess that I don't know much about working with linseed oil.

Oh! Polyurethane! Yes that might be it! Few things leave a shine like it does. :)

There's not much to miss about linseed oil except that it will enhance the wood grain on a woodworking project if the surface is sanded correctly before applying the oil. It's good for something showy like a decorative piece of furniture. The hardest part is keeping bubbles out of the oil when stirring. Any bubbles left transfer onto the wood and pop which leaves a visible void on the finish.
