Rooster Cogburn concept sketches
Guess who saw the remake of True Grit? NNNNNGH :D :D :D :D :D
Before the obvious questions set in as to why he's a bobcat and not the obvious choice of a rooster, this is why I never ask people what animal they want to be when I furry-fy them. Maybe you don't LOOK like a flamingo/white kitty/bunny...cuz you like bunnies.
This is what I saw when I watch the movie.
Also I guess bear skin guy is apparently a shih-tzu? I dunno. It's the beard.

This is great, you've got the character spot on. I love the way you handled his beard.
I really loved this movie - the "You are NOT La Beouf." bit just cracked me up, and you captured the moment perfectly.
Out of curiosity, did any of the other characters scream certain species to you? I can totally see the bobcat in Rooster, but I generally don't imagine people - fictitious or otherwise - as "furries" so I'm interested in how your thought process works, especially since you said: "This is what I saw when I watch the movie."

I saw La Beouf as a dog, like a jack russel or some kind of half flop-eared hound mix. Mostly because he's so "by the book" and so "eager". Plus, and I hadn't thought about this prior, it would explain why he and Rooster are always at each other, totally opposite cat and dog personalities XD
I actually couldn't figure out what the girl was, as I was mostly focusing on Rooster throughout the movie XD But now that I've seen Rango, all I can see is that big eyed mouse character which kind of fits her as well D:
