Clothed Reference sheet for Baan
Body Details:
- Female fruity Efreeti (Genie)!
- Looks a bit like a demon/dragon in visual, but is actually a genie (efreeti) from the elemental planes. Her body acquired affinity with the element of fruit (Read her full story below).
- Her normal skin is light blue, with darker blue/purple at her finger and toe tips. She also has some of the darker colour come through all over her body as pigmentation/freckles (noteably on her cheeks and between her nosebridge, collarbone, hips, above her tail and between her shoulderblades). Her nosebridge turns to softer pink.
- The rest of her body is quite literally covered and 'plated' in fruit - Here is the full list of her fruity details:
- Her hair is made of bananas and/or banana peels (They ripen and grow new). She has some banana coloured pigment at her scalp.
- Her eyebrows are thick and 'spikey/fiery' but still have the banana motive. It adds to her looking perpetually angry.
- While she does have earholes, they are generally covered by her hair. However, you might notice her 'earring' Cherries hanging from them.
- Her upper arms have banana peel (almost looks like banana slugs) scales.
- Her lower arms have strawberry scales.
- Her upper legs have kiwi scales.
- Her lower legs have orange scales.
- Her butt (and part of her tail) are peachy, quite literally.
- She has grapes adorning a line down her collarbone, as well as her navel and a few grapes going down from there. Her nipples and nethers are also of the grape type.
- Red sharp nails on hands and feet.
- Nubby tail.
- No fur, but a rather glossy/shiny fruit body of course.
Optional Accessories/Clothing:
- Though she's normally found waltzing around in the nude, she occassionely needs to wear job-related outfits, like a colourful fruity (or work-enforced) apron and job-related headwear, like those 'weird little paper-hat like things'
Personality & Background Information:
- Baan has a fun backstory that describes why she exists the way she does. The short story is that she came to the material plane in a rush and accidentally became tied to the element of fruit. She is perpetually angry and tries to claim power in our world. She does this by climbing the ladder like everyone else, mostly doing jobs in low-qualified jobs like selling fruit at markets, or working in fruit-related shops/vendors. People actually really enjoy what she does, but her occassional bouts of violence get her fired.
- Though not shown in the reference sheet here, Baan can turn her body into a whirlwind of fruit, and like most genie kind, prefers to only do it to her lower body. She does this to appear more menacing, and t to travel faster. She can whatsover fly/hover at all times though.
- Angry, Wishful, Enduring, Violent
Background Story:
In my world design, Djinns/Genies/Efreeti are a type of elemental demons whom are all muddled together in their elemental plane. The bigger demons opress the weaker and smaller demons whom fail to have any control within the plane. Sometimes, tears (read: portals) emerge as a connection between the elemental and the material plane, often formed by a large surge of energy drawn from the elemental plane into the material plane.. The Lesser demons have learned to utilize these portals, escaping to the material plane in which their powers (albeit lesser) still rule quite dominantly over normal people.
There is however a catch to this procedure - Usually a demon gets trapped into the vessel that created the portal, their powers disconnected and unfocussed along with it. It is at this point that a demon can grant a contract between a denizen of the material plane, and itself, usually granted in the concept of wishes (the bigger the vessel, the more wishes might need to be granted), allowing the demon to be set free and have most of their power restored, generally focussed on the element that created the connecting portal.
Baan's story however, is rather peculiar - As a lesser Efreeti, she discovered the tiniest little portal to escape through, emerging in the vessel of a short-circuiting fruit mixer in the material world. Shortly upon her arrival, the entire vessel broke, and there was no actual person around to grant any wishes to whatsoever. Baan's power fused with that of the fruit's elemental, but lost a lot of her raw power as a result of this.
Ever since that day, Baan has been trying to locate the person whom owned the fruit mixer, hoping she might be able to restore to her full power by doing so. She is however already of the thought that she is in fact a mighty denizen on the material plane, and that everyone should bow to her and her majestic presence. She is perpetually angry and bitter, and more or less hates the.. well.. everything.
But people love her. She has a strong odor of delicious fruits, seems to spawn fruit whenever upset, and somehow just ends up making everyone around her feel better, without her trying. Word has it, she might simply taste good too.. but you'd likely have her fist in your face first.
