Another topical poem from me, reflecting the recent melodrama I let myself get dragged into instead of just ignoring it. I don't have to tell you who it is, but it was so hard to say goodbye to him after 10 years of knowing him. I felt like the Mayor from the original incarnation of The Powerpuff Girls, as seen in the episode "Major Competition." Do note that the episode is about a charlatan superhero who deceives everybody, but the point is that at one moment, the Mayor announces he's no longer employing the Powerpuff Girls, ditching them in favor of Major Man, the charlatan in disguise. After hanging up, he says, "That was so hard to do!" The next moment, then he says, "Anyway, time to move on and forget about the past; gotta make room for the future!"
That's what I intend to do for real, folks. It's time to move on and forget about the past. We have to make room for the future!
Powerpuff Girls episode I am referencing: https://www.wcofun.org/the-powerpuf.....r-mojos-rising
The episode is the first of the two. (The second one explains how Mojo Jojo's idiotic actions led to the creation of his own worst enemy.)
The Powerpuff Girls (C) Cartoon Network, Hanna-Barbera, and everyone else who owns the rights, and created by Craig McCracken.
