Riding Lesson with Viola (Art Trade)
Viola came over to check out the ranch and Roxanne couldnt help but offer a little pony ride to her new friend. The two brought out the Egyptian Arabian mare, Nyah, for a bit of a test. Will the spirited Arabian be calm enough to be a lesson horse?
survey said- yes!
Nyah was a gentle soul, and though she got a little excited and flirted with any studs around, Nyah did her job well and seemed to enjoy herself! we may have a new lesson horse on our hands!
Viola did wonderfully as well! Nyah isn't fitted to a western saddle yet, but Viola held a very balanced, and proper seat in the smaller hunter/jumper saddle the Arabian came with.
fun fact: Nyah was was trained as a hunter/jumper horse at her previous home! who knew?? Think we might have to get this girl over some jumps soon!
