He's the eater of spirits that was created to eat well you know [Ghosts] he's basically like another virtual trash bin.
But as some thought and guessed he became power hungry and wanted to eat all the ghosts in every sector. So koras was created to controll him and limit his consumption but that didnt last either.
So he was sealed away for reserch.
