This is a piece made specifically for Bubonicon. Their mascot is Perry the Plague Rat, but how we work with him is wide open. The convention's theme this year is "Across the Multiverse", so here's my interpretation of Perry using some kind of magical artifact to do just that.
I used Prismacolor pencil over watercolor, over an ink drawing. There is gold paint pen detailing. Perry holds a tiny white opal. There are shiny bits on the wings.
