The Lost Planet is one of many such battleships built about 200 years ago to fight in the Psychic War. The nations that would eventually become Novak were already well known for their developments in aeronautics and these battleships were their greatest most advanced achievement. The regions are so cold and frozen over that land travel is very dangerous, so they turned to the skies for their travel needs. Rabbits built and manned these initially, so the halls sized for them. The Lost Planet is old. Many of its systems have been replaced, modified, broken, repaired, and destroyed. Keeping this thing in the air is a massive effort undertaken by many skilled engineers who have devoted their lives to keeping such rare and powerful technology running. The power needed to take off is so massive that keeping it in the sky is the energy saving solution. The Lost Planet has not touched ground in about 40 years. It's interiors have become a vast maze of cobbled together walls and corridors.
