While Xevin's life has always been full of demons thanks to his warlock parents, becoming one wasn't part of the plan.

During the Broken Shore war Xevin served as a warlock in one of the army squads. His team got ambushed by a group of demons during a recon mission. Xevin alone survived by begging the satyr that caught him to turn him into a demon. Moments after the change was done, Xevin killed the satyr and fled.

He left the army soon after and has been hiding that secret since. Despite succumbing to the Fel, Xevin's strict views of what a 'proper' warlock should act like remains. He refuses to feed off the land, maintained control of his host of bound demons, and survives on mana potions and holy water to fend off the endless hunger for magic and corruption.
