Hunting camo is always fine and dandy, but don't expect it to work everywhere you go. Storebought 'ghillies' are merely for convenience and coolfactor. And in this particular instance, for hunting. Animals wouldn't really know the difference.

Humans are a species that evolved both as a hunter, and prey to other species. So we've developed a sense of identifying inconsistencies in our environment, While the color and pattern of the ghillie is pretty good for the ground area here. There is a good chance that you can still essentially be spotted out. The color match isn't 100% and the ghillie doesn't serve too well in breaking up your shape completely which will give you problems in the long run.

As and airsoft sniper, we're not exactly working with long distances, so having a good ghillie and camo as an airsoft sniper is very important.

Have you ever considered looking into making your own ghillie? Its a simple, but a bit of a tedious process. I've been making shoulder ghillies for airsoft for nearly 15 years now, so if you have any questions i'd be more than happy to help along.
