BlackRat, aka Keanon Woods, had this commission on his plate from me for a long time. And a series of unfortunate circumstances kept thwarting this project. That, and a bunch of corrections/mods/whatever from me.

Here we have a not-really-canon Rooth origin story, to go along in the same universe with another story that I'll be posting soon. Sudden and unexpected transformation may be hazardous to your health! Especially under such treacherous conditions. I think it was the imbalance from this sudden extra limb called a 'tail' that threw Rooth off the cliff-face! Luckily, this form comes with wings, or he'd be pancake in a few seconds. And you may be thinking, man, that must be some crazy Star Trek IV cliff-face he's falling from to have enough time to think and say all that, but have you ever fallen from a cliff face? You enter this sort of time-warp zone where everything seems to be going slower than normal .. kinda like in Green Hornet. >.> (no, I've never fallen from a cliff face, I am just that infrequent awesome a climber :P)
