BlackRat, aka Keanon Woods, had this commission on his plate from me for a long time. And a series of unfortunate circumstances kept thwarting this project. That, and a bunch of corrections/mods/whatever from me.

Here we have a not-really-canon Rooth origin story, to go along in the same universe with another story that I'll be posting soon. Sudden and unexpected transformation may be hazardous to your health! Especially under such treacherous conditions. They may also be hazardous to your wallet -- do you know how expensive those climbing shoes were!? ;)
