Been obsessed with Baldur's Gate 3 since I started a campaign with some of my friends. Here's my character, a black dragon great weapons fighter, Evelyn Wight.
Evelyn came from a clan of soldiers, honor-bound knights seeking to protect those in need and become renowned heroes. When the mind flayers came, she immediately threw herself in the fray for duty of her clan, resulting in her being captured and a tadpole being forced into her skull.
After strange circumstances even she had a hard time explaining, she and a small group find themselves escaped from the wrecked mind flayer ship. Away from her clan, with no idea if they are even alive still, the dragonborn teams up with this party of eccentric adventurers to rid the parasite, and what ever else the worlds may have in store for her.
Evelyn typically has a dry air about her, naturally wearing a scowl and being a bit blunt to others. She is not quite sure what to think of her company either. While the tiefling bard has a bright outlook, they tend to obsess over their looks and at times (specifically at camp) seems a bit too comfortable with their body. The human wizard seems kind, but he's very winded and seems to have some troubling affinity to magical items. The Drow woman they keep troubles her the most however. She seems to have something very dark buried in her mind, and it doesn't seem to be the tadpole causing this.
Despite all these troubles, there is no time to judge moral character. Time for Evelyn to be pragmatic and get to work with what she does best, cleaving evil and using her superiority in the battlefield to protect those who can't take a hit.

She has the look, and the sound, of someone quite capable of cleaving through all kinds of monsters. Doubtless it was either through dirty tricks or sheer numbers that she was caught, or perhaps bad luck.
in any case, am sure she'll be fine with her interesting companions. No great adventure is without its odd collection of people brought together by fate!

Evelyn has grown to love her eccentric companions. She'd stand in the way of any fireball or careening sword for them any day. Mainly because she can take a hit much better than any of them can, but also because she cares. Just don't tell them she thinks that, she's got an image to keep.
In fact she's come to terms that her old clan is essentially gone, but perhaps her new friends can be her clan.

Hehe! ^!^ Where it begins! ^!^ Love her purple accents! Obviously go with her eyes and scales. ^!^ Ooo! And the ridge between her eyes, and her ridge-like eyebrows! Hehe! XD So much more detail in this pic. ^!^ You really went all out on this 1st pic, eh? ^!^ Nice. ^!^
Love seeing her armor, well the 1st set, in this detail too. ^!^ So form fitting and sturdy. ^!^ And shiny like her horns! Hehe! ^!^
Love her backstory too. ^!^ Simply a hero because the world needs them. ^!^ Never needs to be more complicated than that, imo. ^!^ And happy to learn a bit more about the party! ^!^

I strongly agree, sometimes the most simple of backstories make the most compelling characters. Especially when you're surrounded by such eccentric characters ;p
I really did go all out with this first one, eh? Then all these months later I've been trying to simplify the character and making her easier to read haha! So glad that you like her though, she certainly fell in love with me immediately into my Baldur's Gate playthrough. To the point where I have a hard time playing the game as anyone other than Evelyn.
