What is your favorite time of the year?

Generally summer.

Is that only because of July 4? I like summer a lot, but I also like mid autumn around October because my birthday is that month and because I like it when the air is a little cool and there are leaves around but not yet really cold with all the vegetation, looking dead and muddy like at the beginning and end of the winter. I would probably like spring a lot more if it lasted for more than a week and wasn’t 50% muddy and wet at the beginning of it and the rest of spring is basically tornado season where I’m at. In fact, you really only get one or two weeks of spring flowers and greenery before it quickly turns to summer. So basically imagine the first half of spring being wet, misty and muddy like Belgium and northern France during World War I one week where it is actually pleasant and then the rest of what is technically spring, being a hot, humid and stormy with occasional tornado warnings

July 4th is certainly a nice part of summer. But I just generally like the relaxed attitude that tends to go with summer even if the heat gets a bit intense down here in the south.

I assume in Florida? Also what is your favorite kind of thing that you like to see in patriotic colors? For me it’s trains such as Amtrak and the 1970s American freedom train and bicentennial themed locomotives

The somewhat obvious answer would be the flag. The next answer might be my various t-shirts covered with eagles and red/white/blue.
