Prime Event Variant observed
Unknown dysphoria between main character and the rest of the "cast" detected. Sonic appears closer to his original "design" rather than fitting with the rest of the world's designs.

For Sonic to be taking a train really spoke volumes on how exhausted he was. He wasn't even able to travel with his best bud Tails because they both had to do their own thing before they reached home. However as he stepped off the train and looked around, something told him that things wouldn't be so bad.
As he looked around he heard rapid steps coming toward him, a rather familiar and yet slightly deeper voice reaching out to him from the distance, he turned his head to see a color of hair he had not seen in a long time. The person attached to said hair was of even greater interest. Amy Rose had always chased after him and he knew it. He should've known that she would come looking for him the minute he got back. She had probably gotten word days ago. However, regardless of how she knew, the fact was that she was here, and Sonic for once couldn't turn nor run from the pink force of nature coming his way rapidly.
However, instead of jumping on him, or performing the rather widely known "Glomp" maneuver, the pink powerhouse almost skidded to a stop in front of him. Sonic blinked, almost more taken aback by her restrain than the unfamiliar shape she had. Finally he smirked, greeting his old friend cheerfully. He may have been surprised to see her at first, and she definitely had grown up, but Sonic was too quick on his feet to be too stunned for long. He would adapt and move with the world, and keep it steady as he always did.
As they talked though, Sonic found himself slightly drawn to Amy, in a way he had only ever thought about before. He smiled at her, regarding every word she said. Things certainly were different, but for once Sonic could not deny, they were different in a good way.
