Emerl/Gemerl
An ancient robot soldier from the distant past, called a "Gizoid". Emerl was built to serve as a bodyguard for the surviving Ancients after their home planet was destroyed by a great evil. Emerl served his duty well until the final battle against the same evil that destroyed the Ancients' home. Emerl fought bravely alongside the Ancients and their allies, until he was struck down. Many centuries passed and he was discovered by Cream and Cheese while they were exploring the Chaos Temple in Seaside Archipelago. Somehow, she accidently reactivated him, and he became her unofficial guardian. Sadly, he was destroyed protecting Cream from Khepri. Fortunately, after the Sol Kingdom was freed from the Eggman Empire, Tails rebuilt Emerl, combining the Ancient technology with that of the Sol Kingdom. And so, Emerl was reborn as Gemerl, and he resumed his new duty as Cream's guardian, joining her, Silver, and Blaze on their journey.
