I am deeply intrigued in the story behind this pic now. It seems like to me the fennec is nervous about a potential date, and is meeting with someone for the first time. There's that sense of worry in the first panel, but as soon as the person comes by with I'm assuming fresh cups of coffee, that worry melts into a glimmer of happiness, still reeling from the emotions before but definitely relieved to see the turn of events.

I like this piece a lot, but now I just hope the fennec is doing okay! ^^

It's certainly a very intriguing image. What the story might be, it's not my place to guess, but I like the sense of hope and comfort that the main image conveys. And the sorrow of the smaller panel is very touching, and beautifully captured. It's one of those pieces that immediately grabs you and makes you want to know more, and it really does look fantastic. I love the detail on the background, especially little things like the salt and pepper shakers, and what looks like streaks of rain on the windows of the diner. The hands and what look to be coffee cups in the foreground are really nicely done, too, and I like how she's reaching out to this person as well. It's a gorgeous piece all around, and you do tenderness very well!
