Zax: Ted Cruz, one of our senators, is usually silent about LGBTQ rights. However, this made him break his silence because of what that bill was encouraging.
Frank S.: It's war criminal stuff. As for many of the hate preachers who have been ironically murdered by their own followers for secretly viewing gay porn, I didn't want them to die like that. They should've been alive with Museveni to be tried in the ICC for crimes against humanity and genocide. But there was more people than ammo so we were left with no choice but to let the hate mobs take their course even if it meant having our government institutions destroyed by them. I didn't want to see our LGBTQ individuals deported, but it was either that or murdered by the mobs. But they're happy with where they're living at now, especially America.
Juno: And this won't be the last time we're going to hear the name of a certain fictional perverted lion with alleged descriptions of who they are and what they do. Someone is going to take Museveni's place as the next ultimate homophobe.
Zachary: The devil has his successors lined up every time these evil leaders are defeated. I was very surprised that Ted Cruz mentioned Uganda under Museveni. For him to say that Uganda's Anti Homosexual Act is horrible to the point that the world must enact sanctions against that country says how evil things have gone there. Among the countries that sanctioned Uganda are major firearms producers and exporters. With Leo and his parallels being in charge of those countries, they made it extremely clear that they will not sell weapons to any country that will allow them to be used for genocidal purposes or any act that violates human rights. Thus Uganda at the time have a hard time importing ammo since importing weapons and armored vehicles was extremely difficult. Lyle is right to say crime must be punished, even with sanctions.
Isaac: Don't forget that Uganda couldn't export their coffee at the time. That's how severe the sanctions were. They basically treated Uganda like they were North Korea, when it existed.
Chuong: Me thinks online shopping was incredibly difficult and boring there too since they can't buy anything from the countries that sanctioned them.
Jack: I know one day, the Ugandans who took part in the hate mobs and enforcing that disgusting bill are going to have a lot to answer to God.

Lyle: I do cringe at the thought of what He will say to them when they stand before Him.
Super C: So do I. *to Juno* Exactly why I made that very idea a forbidden topic of conversion. But you're right to say it's not the last time we'll hear the name because there are others out there obsessed with the concept.
Leo: They would have been suffering for it in the afterlife regardless. These murders just made them get to that point faster.
Lyle: I promise you I won't, but these tragedies were enough to make a grown lion cry.

Uganda always had a homophobia problem way before the anti homosexual bill. So the idea of an American pastor suggesting to Museveni to pass the bill in question is unlikely. 13 years ago, an Ugandan pastor made this speech.

I'm a Christian, and that upsets me to some extent. While God's doctrine and teachings do condemn all things LGBTQ+, they do not condemn the people. "Do not judge, or you, too, will be judged," it says in Matthew 7:1. Their homophobia is a form of judgment.
I know
those people who spread homophobia quoting the bible are not good Christians, they lost their way.
They will start quoting those famous verses from the leviticus who say homosexuals should be killed, Sodom and Gomorrah etc etc
Those verses actually have nothing to do with homosexuals
