This is just a short snippet from a story I've been working on for about two months now. It's a romance about a boy who finds himself transported to a magical Kingdom of cats by one of their royal figures, who appeared in the human world as a stray cat taken in by our protagonist Jason. Somewhere along the way, Jason encounters a gypsy by the name of Madame Raven who turns him into a cat. Shortly thereafter, he is reunited with the count, whom he has been falling head over heels in love with. That is essentially where this scene comes in.
