I doubt he is in anyway bloodrelated to Link. People need to watch more stuff about swords and such, if they seriously think, just cause Shade said, "go my child" means they are bloodrelated. No it doesn't mean that, he meant go my student. Rest of the theory, maybe but I also doubt the losing of his fairy in the woods too. He might have passed on the normal way.
