Next up among the villainous variations of my characters, it's someone from a slightly different setting: Samuel.
The antiquated blade, once little more than a showcased curio - worn, rusted, incomplete - has been awakened. What Samuel had initially stolen in order to save another, has shaped him into a bringer of death and the bearer of its bloody curse.

I find it endearing how your re-imagined characters have generally not become villains truly of their own volition, but through unwitting corruption at the hands of another entity. You have a lot of faith in them to make good choices, if not forced into the alternative.
...either that, or you just are of the opinion that tragic, cursed villains are cool. Or maybe both are true? I have to say, I do always love a cursed sword. There's something poetic about a tool of bloodshed taking away from its user's humanity.

There are some characters who could (and perhaps would) take the villain path of their own volition, or embrace a darkness they already carry with them.
It just happens that the ones featured thus far have elements to their respective characters/stories that make them more likely to fall to outside influence first. Or to make decisions that lead to becoming so vulnerable.
