Every time I look at this, I am completely in awe.
I first must say, your skills in perspective are incredible! I love how the buildings feel so intimidatingly tall, and the angle was depicted SO wonderfully!!! I adore the archways on all the windows, and the really satisfying way a lot of the horizontal lines of ledges and supports of the building coincide with the placement of the character in a way that directs the viewers eyes almost cinematically to the character and the path ahead >A< ! Also- the texture on the walls is so gorgeous! a perfect gritty look for the stone- ahhh and the building to the left almost seems to glimmer from the little light from the overcast sky and I love that tooo!!!!! The character, is also amazingly drawn!!! I am so impressed with the lighting, those strong highlights REALLY set the mood! And the way the light going through the thin skin of the ears shows the pink of the vessels is such a niche detail that I admire so much!!! I also love the rain bouncing off his body and clothes- and how heavy the clothes seem from the rain- the folds are all so perfectly placed! And his eyes- my gosh, his eyes are so mesmerizing! The expression honestly gives me shivers it's so intense! OH! and the way the mist from the rain hitting the ground is so accurately portrayed, and the perspective of the raindrops further adding dimension to the picture, my gosh it's incredible! You can almost feel how heavy the rain is, hear it when you look at this, feel the chill- it's AMAZING! Your work has such a deep realistic feeling that makes me feel so immersed when looking at your artwork, and to feel like I can experience a part of my characters story as if I had been watching it firsthand, it makes me so overwhelmed with happiness ;;-;;
