Is the base layer of colour markers? I've always wondered how you get your stuff so smooth. I borrow Wes's markers sometimes and I don't really know how to apply them so.. well, smoothly.

It's pretty much mostly marker with colored pencil and acrylics for touch-ups. So I would say it's much more than just the base layer that's markers, it's about 90% of the work =3
