Being a big Giger fan I have to say this rocks. The readability could be a bit better, but some times that's the hardest part with stuff like this.
You've very nicely captured the look and feel of his work while maintaining your own style and all without over complicating the piece.

Giger himself would likely get a kick out of this, if you want to send it in. They publicly post fan work on his website that people submit, sometimes.
