This is a scene from Episode 1: "Who Are the Night Critters? Part 1." It follows the character Stella as she tries to track down a mysterious mercenary group called the Night Critters to get back an artifact that they stole. She was really hoping the artifact would be important enough to win her university an award and allow her whole class to get a free vacation to an exotic land. She hates her boring city life and wants some adventure, so she is willing to do whatever it takes to get the artifact back from the Night Critters.

In this scene Stella is at the police archive trying to get information on where the Night Critters might be living, but the ferret in charge seems to be deliberately keeping information hidden from her.


I've had this scene basically finished for the last couple of months now, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to post it because I didn't know what form I wanted to make episodes in. I don't want to commit to a full webcomic or animated show, but I finally settled on posting little vignettes from it as though it were a real show that aired a few years ago. This office space was a lot of fun to model, but it also took me hours. I need to get faster at making scenes in the future if I want to post any more of these.
