Roxanne Wolf, originally thought to have been shut down for good, finds herself still without sight, yet still alive. “Wha-? What happened? Where am I?” She then notices the forklift still lying on top of her. “How did I get like this?” She attempts to move the heavy piece of machinery off of her, but finds the task difficult. Even for a large animatronic, the forklift is still the heavier. “Darn it! I can't free! And I STILL don't have my eyes back!”
Suddenly, her memories began to return to her prior to his shut down and reboot. “Wait...I remember...” That's when it hit her. “Cassie!” Even though she could not see, she still moved her head around and began to call out to her. “Cassie? Are you still there? I'm sorry about what happened before, I thought you were Gregory!” Again she tried to push the forklift off of her. “Cassie! If you're there I need your help! You don't have to be scared, I'm myself again! Really!”
Just then, inside her digital mindscape, MXES appeared before her, but only partailly. “Who...wait, I KNOW you. You're that program that was making me and the others act strangely.” While MXES was no longer able to manipulate Roxanne, they still were able to connect with her. “Why were you hacking us!?” MXES did not respond with words, but with a message:
“Intruder has infiltrated the last nexus point. Entity can not escape confinement. Must stop intruder immediately.”
Roxanne was confused at first. “Intruder? Who, Cassie? She's no threat!” Then she remembered the other part of MXES message. “Hold on, who's this 'entity'?” MXES again typed out a message before her:
“Dangerous artificial intelligence. Nicknamed 'Mimic'. Sealed away deep under Mega Pizzaplex. Must not escape. Other units destroyed or unresponsive. Current unit only one remaining. Intruder will breach containment. Mimic must not escape.”
It did not take long for Roxanne to piece everything together. Fear soon began to overtake her as she knew the danger Cassie was now in. “Oh no...CASSIE!” She pressed up against the forklift and tried with all her might to move it, but only by an inch or two. Panic rushed over her like a frightened mother for her child. “Damn it MOVE!” In that moment, without any explanation at all, recorded memories of the times she and Cassie spent together at the Pizzaplex flashed before her. Singing together while she played her key-tar. Giving her a makeover by coloring her nails green. Singing her a birthday song with a carrot cake to celebrate the occasion.
Roxanne then gripped the metal haul of the forklift so hard that her claws dug into it with a loud scraping sound that echoed throughout the whole room. “I!” She pushed harder. “Said!” And harder again. “MOVE!” With one final thrust, the forklift was flung off of her at last. In an instant she was on her feet and turned her attention to the elevator leading to the underground passage to where Cassie had gone down earlier. MXES guided her with simple one worded messages whenever she needed them. Turning left when needed, and right when needed. Suddenly, before she could reach her destination, MXES began to glitch and dissipate. Cassie had shut down the finale node and MXES was no longer able to aid Roxanne. In that moment, she was able to hear the sound of the other forklift break through the concrete wall that houses the Mimic. “Cassie, no!” Thankfully, this scenario allowed her to find the rest of the way to Cassie.
Once she realized she was in the underground structure housing MXES main computer, she listened for another sign of Cassie's whereabouts. Just ahead of her, she could hear Cassie speaking to the Mimic. “You're not Gregory. What are you?” She turned her head to the destroyed wall and slowly made her way towards it, so as to not to alert the Mimic. Once she heard it make its way to Cassie, she made her move and intercepted the Mimic.
“Cassie. Get out of here. Run!” As Cassie ran for the back entrance the other forklift had created, Roxanne grabbed hold of Mimic and pushed it with all her strength into the wall.
Mimic then grabbed hold of Roxanne's arms and swung her around to reverse the situation. “Rox...Roxanne...W-Wolf.”
Roxanne began to push Mimic again as it tried to hold its ground. Digging its mechanical toes into the concrete ground and creating claw marks along it. Swinging Roxanne again, she lost her grip and flew into the adjacent wall, but she lunged at Mimic like a rabid wolf and slammed it to the ground. “Give up!” She attempted to dig her claws into its metal skull, but grabbed hols of her wrist before she could reach it. Mimic then grabbed her by the neck and swung her again but with greater force. Slamming head first into the ground, Roxanne became dazed and her body began to twitch and malfunction as she again shut down from the concussive force to her head.
A few minutes later, she was able to regain consciousness. She managed to get back on her feet and lost her balance for a moment, but was able to catch herself. Shaking off her dizziness, she immediately remembered what had happened. “Cassie!” She turned to face towards the hole in the back wall and felt her way around to the tunnel system. “Cassie! Can you hear me!?” Feeling the rocky walls, she made her way down the tunnel until she felt the presence of an actual floor. Caring only for Cassie and not where had found herself, she called out again. “Cassie! Where are you!?” Just then, she heard the sound of metal creaking. Just briefly, but enough to make her head in its direction.
Roxanne felt around more and realized she was in a doorway. Believing Cassie had gone this way to Escape the Mimic, she made her way down the hallway until she felt her foot kick something on the ground. Curiously, she reached down and picked up the object to discover it was Mimic's severed right arm. She frantically reached outward and hoped Cassie had somehow managed to destroy Mimic and was hiding somewhere nearby. Unfortunately, all she managed to find was the end of the hallway and the door to an elevator. Roxanne believed Cassie managed to escape inside and that Mimic had abandoned its pursuit. She felt around until she discovered the button and pressed it. After the door opened, Roxy called out in a gentle tone. “Cassie?”
There was no answer. All she could hear was the echoing sounds of an empty elevator shaft. “No...” Roxanne dropped the Mimic's arm and leaped into the shaft. Sinking her claws in the walls, she looked down the shaft despite not being able to see. But she knew what she had to do. Releasing her grip, she fell through the shaft, grabbed hold and let go again. She continued this until she felt the tip of her mechanical tail touch a solid surface underneath her. She had reached the elevator that had been dropped earlier and plummeted to the ground. Gently setting foot on its roof, Roxanne felt around for a way inside until she felt the handle to a hatch. Opening it up, she carefully lowered herself into the elevator, and reached out. Within moments, she brushed up against what felt like Cassie's hair.
“Cassie?” Roxanne placed her hand on her head and knelt down next to the unconscious girl. She then carefully scooped her up into her arms and gently shook her to try and wake her. “Cassie? Are you okay?” Cassie did not respond, and Roxanne had feared the worst. Just then, she could hear a soft moan and Cassie move slighting in his grasp. Cassie's hand then reached out and caressed the side of Roxanne's exposed endo skull.
“Roxy?” She spoke weakly. “You found me.” Roxanne could not help but embrace Cassie like a mother who had just found her lost child. “Roxy...you're...squeezing me a little too tight.”
“Oh!” She released her grip to hug her much more gently and began to sob softly. “I'm so glad you're okay.”
Cassie returned the hug and started to cry happily. “I thought I killed you. But then you came to my rescue. Twice. Just like how I'm your Number One twice.”
Roxanne chuckled and gently stroked Cassie's hair. “I've got you Cassie. And this time? I'm not letting go.”

Thank you so much man. I did this on a whim because Roxy just became such a phenomenal character to me thanks to Ruin. Felt fun and good to write this, and your opinion really made my day.
I plan to give Roxy more love, with some commissions and maybe another fan-fic down the line.
