Wide flat and muddy
Came out here again, mid day, and the parking lot was empty, so I took a walk on the beach.
It was thick with deep clay in spots I didn’t get much deeper than my mid thighs as I didn’t want to get too involved. I do plan on a return trip soon though, maybe just take a long walk down a mucky beach…

Something I wear to enable a more foot safe ‘walk’ is the use of leather ballet slippers. They really have done a great job (this far) in protecting my feet from various shell artifacts and barnacle laden rocks. Their form factor further enables my feet to not get stuck in the mud easily unlike that of regular shoes vs the mud.
