Thanks for expressing yourself, Shane. It can be hard. Even in this day and age where there are so many creative people out there, get told to get a real job. To feel shame for what you do when they just don't understand the greatness you do.

Your stories have been a treasure in the bleakness that has been my life recently. Thanks for what you do, and who you are.

Venting really can help a lot

I do hope you know that your work is amazing though and means the world to so many of us.

In a world of billions, to a single strand the tapestry of all human lives is infinitely complex and intricate. It can be hard enough to know what part of the whole we make up, let alone what part another person, another strand, does.

Worry not what other strands say is the value of your color and shape. Worry instead whether your color and shape have value to you. If they do, then that value will be imparted onto the whole.

And in this strand’s irrelevant opinion, what you add to this tapestry through your work has great value indeed.
