Well the thing casting the shadow kind of looks like a horse on a stick that children play with. Of course if it were casting that shadow, it would be pretty freaky. And if you don't actually have a horse on a stick that would indeed be scary.
Or is the shadow not a shadow at all?
Hopefully it went away when you turned on the light?
