“What the heck is that?” I hear you cry. There’s a clue on the badge in the center of the grille, but you may not be able to make it out. This concept car is the one-and-only 1951 General Motors LeSabre. Designed by Harley Earl, this car traveled the world in the early 1950s and served as Earl’s daily driver for a time. Restored in 2005, it is now part of the GM Heritage Collection in Detroit, Michigan.

Oh yay I am excited to see it! I don't know much about cars (like the specs and stuff) but man, anytime I see a cool looking one, I turn my head. Makes me happy for some reason...

Other than the headlight placement, it is a gorgeous car. Pretty cool that it was used as Harley Earl's car.

I agree. The Y Job is beautiful, and it, too, still exists. For a time, Harley Earl had both of them at his home.

Cool, I've only seen older photos of this car, I wasn't aware it even existed today. So many prototypes eventually vanish.
