I appreciate you posting this. You never took a wrong turn, just some people are born into circumstances that force them to work harder than others, but if it's any consolation, learning what it means to struggle makes you a far more mature, interesting, and inspirational person to others.
I can't help but agree with you. But.. sometimes I think it would be better if I was intellectually as an amoeba and just went with the flow, instead of getting a furious life experience. Yes, perhaps I am wiser than many, I notice this in myself in many aspects. But am I happier than they are? I doubt it very much.
