Ainia was created to be a perfect Bionid soldier, fit for various combat situations. Her brain was modified so she can come up with various outcomes and plans much faster than usual Bionids, making her an excellent strategist. However, a slight mishap during modification affected her personality. Instead of making her a calm, almost emotionless soldier, she was turned into a person with a rather perky and goofy, if not a bit weird personality. However, when push comes to shove and she needs to fight, she turns into a strong-willed, wise and strict leader, making sure her teammates make it through every battle with minimum casualties, if any at all.

Not long after being assigned to B.E.T.A. (Bionid Enforcer Tactical Assembly) Strike Team as the leader of the second Unit, she has been nicknamed Amazon by her teammates, thanks to her tall figure, combat style and admirable feminine attributes. However, she didn't quite understand the meaning of her nickname so she shrugs it off.
She formed a bit of a friendly rivalry with first Unit's leader, Keil-some members of B.E.T.A. Team even think the two flirt with each other in their own way.

Thanks to her admirable combat experience and contributions to the war against any threat on Earth, she earned herself quite a reputation, becoming a sort of role model to young bionids and some humans as well. When Andrew was transferred to the B.E.T.A. HQ temporarily as a sort of collaboration between U.N.A. (United Nations Army) American Division and ZEUS, she grew fond of the young hybrid, nicknaming him Rookie. Two would often spend time together, training, battling or just hanging out, much to Black Widow's chagrin. Despite BW's jealous tantrums, Ainia always saw Andrew as a sort of younger brother, but rarely misses the opportunity to fool with his female Bionid partner, making her think she's trying to make some advances towards Andrew.

-Her braid is actually a series of millions of sensors, composed of nano-fibers. When in use, braid spreads out, making her look like she has actual hair that spreads from underneath her helmet, and turns from pale grayish yellow to golden. Braid can be torn off, but grows back after a short period of time.

-Her preferred weapons are a pair of guns with small blades attached to their grips and nozzles, and energy spear that can be also broken down into two components- energy sword and fighting pole.
-Her brain is also equipped with Hermes Booster, which allows her advanced environment awareness much needed when moving fast. During the usage of this ability, everything appears as if the time has slowed down from her point of view.

-Like several other female Bionids developed in the same laboratory where she was made, she’s named after an Amazon warrior. Her name means “swiftness”.
