Out of curiosity, how do those things work? Do the tail-mouths actually eat anything, and do they share a stomach with the host, or does the host do all of the eating? Also, can the tail think for itself?

Depends on whoever owns it. They can change how it works to fit their needs.

For mine. The tail has its own brain and stomach... it contains a rib system to keep its shape but not hinder its movement. It also has its own lungs for its own noises. :3 Heart and blood cleansing organs are in the main body. Depending on the temperament of the tail entity will depend on compatibility of it and its owner. Cus some tailmouth tails are cannibalistic. : x That's how I explain it. XD
