Maple is a very very special OC of mine.
She is an Alumy.

An Alumy is a mosnter-like creature that have mind controling abilities.
They have amazing hearing but noy very good eyesight. Maple here, was born with no eyes.

Alumys apparences change depending on the 4 different types of species they are.
Theres Water, forest, sky, and flower species.

Mapel is a Forest Alumy.
A forest Alumy is the most common of the 4 species. They can be found in many forest types and can mind control any creature. But mostly mammals.

Alumy's also have a 3rd eye.
This is what gives Alum's their mind controling power.
When an alumy mind controls a creature, the eye of that creature will appear in the 3rd eye of the Alumy.

For example, if an Alumy mind conrols a cat, the eye of the cat will appear in their 3rd eye.
Most Alumy's will mind control a creature for hunting. But some also mind control creatures for entertainment or status.
The bigger and stronger the animal, the stronger the Alumy has to be.

Alumys have many ranks, and Mapel is a Potion Maker. As shown by the necklace she's wearing with teh symbol of a potion maker in the middle of it.
Potion makers, are alumys that are very much wanted by different Alumy hives. They can make potions and collect various items that may rank up or change an Alumy.

They tend to visit hives on occasion, but mostly live on their own.
(Maple has no eyes which are for "no rankers" only but someone explained to me that i can buy the no eyes trait)


Alumy's take on a lot of traits to that of a cat, so i used a funny image of my friends cat to draw Maple here.

ALUMYS ARE A CLOSED SPECIES!! YOU CANNOT MAKE AN ALUMY OF YOUR OWN WITHOUT PERMISSION!
