she is a tiger but with domestic qualities. she isnt all striped all over like some tigers. and no stripes on her tail

so she's more like a stripy tabby cat from what I know *nods and cuddles lots*

She's cute . I noticed though that she wears a seal. Meant to seal Phault. Is Phault a kind of spirit or second state of mind within her? I read about why you created Phault, and see why she would be sealed, but I'm still curious about her.

Phault is a demon spirit that was sealed in her has a child. Her curiousity almost killed her one day but her fathers stone sealed the demon within her lifespan. Phault can break out and wreck havoc if kaeko gets too depressed or angry. Hence she mostly smiles and hides behind a false smile.

Kaeko hhas been known to wake up covered in blood from phaults last feeding. She isn't the monster herself, but her village still shuns her.

This demon, does she take control of Kaeko's body when this happens? Or does she assume a separate form of her own?

One of my characters is like that too. The idea of Kaeko being shunned because of a demon that lives within her is really sad:(. Being shunned, it seems like it would be hard for her not to be depressed. Does she have friends in her village?

Phault manifests herself thru kaekos form, but not her image. if you came acrossed phault you had not known she was actually just a orange feline host.

phault is a shapeshifter. but she does has a trueform (if she were ever to be released from her seal)

and the only true friend she had was a retriever girl named Sweet.
the the neko and inu clans raged war on eachother and they became enemies, but most or less rivals. they still care about eachother, so they do best not to cross paths.

I see. So in a way, even Phault has light in her as well.

There is absolutely no light in phault. But she would do everything in her pwer to makke sure kaeko won't die.

Mainly because she is bonded to kaeko. If kae dies..phault pretty would die. (She would manifest into a nother host 1000's of years later but..)

Oh, that friend you mentioned is Kaeko's friend. I thought you meant she was a friend of Phault's^^;.
That makes sense. Kaeko is her host, so she needs her alive in order to survive or not go into some kind of sleep or seal for 1000s of years.

kaeko was actually born with brown eyes as a child. but when phault was sealed, they turned blue. Blue Eyed cubs are an omen in her storyline.

Well that's kind of a silly thing to consider an omen:/. No offense. Is it only a superstition, or is it a serious omen for them?

all cubs with blue eyes are to be bound to the demon phault XD

it doesnt happen often. kaeko just ended up being unlucky and phault chose her as a host :/
