The clothing. The colors. The lighting and shading. The composition. The expression.
It all works so beautifully.
I love the long hair and ears, as well as the look to both of their hands and they way the tail is curling around to the front. The color palate of blues and reds give a very striking look, and I love the way the background light illuminates through the wings.
