Reason as to why I pair Knashford with Mittens so much over his own biological mom is (besides Eurydice's mental struggles and attitude) it's a continuation of a non-anthro Goth Mum comic I developed in 2010ish finding new life. I found combining the story of a scary-but-loving parent along with Mittens' BG of not wanting to conform to a gender role (despite being good at it) an interesting complexity. The moment where she eventually gives in and admits she's not an 'Auntie' to someone she's helped raise for 3 years (right when he's begun to lose his optimism & innocence) is one I really wanted to do, so apologies for the wordiness.

The more 'dramatic' flashback comics may not be for everyone here, but it's been helpful channeling some frustration (even if I am not a midget fish raised by rebel lesbians IRL) so to those who do like them, I am happy to blurt that more are coming.
