So I finally sat down and finished Raye's ref sheet. Very happy with this. I haven't had a chance to update everyone's sheet yet, but I have over half sketched out and waiting for inking. One down :)

MORE ABOUT RAYE:


Raye is impulsive, quick-witted, and a little mischievous. By day she is a private investigator, working alongside her adoptive dad, Josias, but at night, she is a daring thief. Usually targeting the corrupt and the wealthy elites. Though not above taking a job simply because the pay is good.

Raye’s job at the PI agency provides legitimate cover for her nighttime activities. Although the job is used for cover, they do take on legitimate clients as her dad believes not only in the work they do but also keeps his people’s skills sharp, as many overlap in both their jobs.

Her life has taken many twists and turns. Her biological parents, both of whom were doctors in different fields, became friends with Josias and his husband (who would later adopt her) and used Amberette's services to collect data and research to further their own as they believed it would truly benefit society and governments unwilling to cooperate was a hurdle they could not solve through legitimate channels. This was her mother's main mission in life, and wanted to make a difference, but sadly that was cut short while working their building was attacked, ending their lives and destroying their research. Josias, having grown close to the family, took Raye in and helped her through this as best as he could.

It was one of the reasons he set up the Private Investigation agency so that he could work from his home and support Raye while his husband went on more dangerous missions.

When Raye was 14 she found out about her adopted dads and Amberette's criminal organisation and made it her own mission to annoy them into letting her join. Eventually, they relented.

Raye thrives on the adrenaline rush of her jobs, whether is a dangerous heist or solving a complex case. She posseses a natural ability for thievery and for gaining people’s trust, both of which help her get the job done. She is cunning and agile, and while she, herself isn't physically strong, she can take on stronger opponents using her wits and taking her time to find weak points or wearing them down until it's safe for her to attack.

Raye doesn’t shy away from causing a bit of (controlled) chaos when things go sideways. From broken windows to property damage (preferably through arson), she will use what’s at her disposal for distraction or misdirection. This is her greatest asset as her impulsive and sometimes destructive nature keeps her opponents off-guard.

Despite all this, she does have a strong moral compass. Her targets tend to be the corrupt, the greedy, and the wealthy who attained their wealth through dishonourable ways. The group donates part of their ill-gotten gains through legitimate charities that help those who need it.

Bad habits:Can be a bit reckless and impulsive and tends to run her mouth which sometimes gets her in trouble and it can get worse after a few drinks, she can be a bit mischievous

Species: Abyssinian Cat/ Lynx Mix (Dad was Abyssian, Mom was Lynx)

Raye doesn't have many nicknames, this is because her name is short. One common nickname that gets tossed around is "Raye-Raye" but Amberette calls her "Sunshine"-- because of "Ray(e) of Sunshine", something Raye isn't too fussed about but doesn't mind from Amberette. Lothar sometimes calls her Kitten, when they first meet it was meant to bother her but it has developed to a more term of endearment. Sometimes she gets called Reina by her dad (Spanish for queen but also her first name and the first syllable of her middle name sound like Reina which is a cute play on her name)
