Dar is a ferroliqua (for lack of a cooler name), a species that is primarily made of ferrofluids. In essence, he is a sentient liquid, though upon closer inspection ferroliqua are actually made of cell-like bodies that act like neurons, among other things. Dar is one of the oldest characters in the story I'm writing. Being so old that even he, the Embodiment of Memory, cannot remember, though it has been estimated to reach into the dozens of trillions of years. His vacant stare is due to his mind constantly being in a state of "defrag," though this does not hinder his ability to converse.
His caretaker is Liinnia, a Yittir, descended from a long line who have maintained the vast temple and shrine complex in which the Embodiments reside. (I really haven't thought up more of a story for her, at least not yet.)
-=-=-=-
I know Liinnia's legs are a bit far apart, I noticed that after drawing it. Also, I think it might be my scanner, but consistently it seems that whenever I draw legs, they appear shorter than I had drawn them.
